Contact with us

If you contact us via the form on the website or by e-mail, we store your stated data for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent. Without stating the data, unfortunately it is not possible to send a reply.

 

Login area on the website

If you set up a user account and log in with it on our website, the stated data (name, e-mail address...) is processed and stored for the purpose of identification, as long as you do not delete your user account. User accounts that are not used for longer than 3 years are deleted by us automatically.

 

Newsletter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter through our website. To do so, we need your e-mail address, name and your declaration that you agree to the subscription to the newsletter with information about raw materials, raw material producing and processing procedures and companies, current views on economic and political developments, as well as about projects, events and conferences on these topics. Without the indicated data, a newsletter subscription is not possible. As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm the registration. We process and store your data stated for this purpose until further notice. The newsletter subscription can be cancelled at any time. Please send us your cancellation to the following e-mail address: office@eumicon.com. We will then delete your data immediately in relation to the newsletter mailing. 

 

Social Media

The data processing occurs on the basis of the legal regulations of § 96 Par. 3 TKG, as well as Art. 6 Par. 1 lit a (consent), lit b (contract fulfilment) and/or f (justified interest) of GDPR. Our objective in accordance with GDPR (justified interest) is the improvement of our offer and of our web presence, as well as the smoothest possible execution of events and their public advertising for our participants.

 

Your rights

In principle you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection regulations or your data protection rights have been contravened in any other way, you can complain to the regulatory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.

For your optimal information, you can find links on our website that refer to the webpages of third parties. If they are not evident, we indicate that they are an external link. EUMICON has no influence on the content and design of the pages of these other providers. The guarantees of this data protection declaration therefore of course do not apply to these. 

 

Registration for events

If you register for one of our events through a form on our website, your stated data (name, title, academic degree, gender, position, nationality, year of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone and fax number) is processed electronically and for the completion of the registration, as well as the participation in the event and passed on to our partners (catering...) as far as is necessary for carrying out the service, especially regarding the framework programme. The data is stored for the duration of the event and for the follow-up (including required storage period for invoicing).It is not possible to carry out the registration and participation without the specified data or without your consent.
Within the scope of your consent, we are also authorised to transmit your contact data provided in the registration to third parties, such as the sponsors of our event, which you can read about in the respective event folders, or to third parties for the purpose of information regarding similar events. 
In addition, the listing of your name and the name of the company stated above are added to the public registration list. You can revoke this consent up to 14 days before the conference.
Photos and video recordings that are made during the event are stored and used by us for the documentation and presentation of the event activities of EUMICON AISBL, the Raw Materials Association, association for the promotion of the sustainable provision and supply of minerals, and the Association for the Promotion of Mining, the raw materials initiative, as well as further training in the field of raw materials in internal and external media as part of public relations work regarding the current and future event, as long as there is no objection to this processing.
