About us

EUMICON is the European-wide platform gathering stakeholders from the entire value chain of mineral resources and metals industries to discuss and promote European raw materials value chains for a competitive European industry. By organising and hosting strategic discussion processes, stakeholder dialogues and meetings, high-level conferences, presentations, and workshops, EUMICON aims to raise awareness for the challenges the raw materials and metals industry is facing as well as to bring stakeholders of all sorts together and provide a forum for an exchange of views.

What are we looking for

EUMICON is currently looking for an Administrative and Event Officer for the Brussels Office who fulfils the following tasks and requirements:

  • Organising high-level meetings and events (e.g., finding venues, coordinating tasks with external contractors, sending invitations)
  • Contributing to the coordination of meetings involving high-profile industry representatives
  • Contributing to the administrative matters of the office
  • Support to general enquiries
  • Taking part in EU events related to the raw materials, metals and energy

Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work towards deadlines and under pressure
  • Problem-solving, flexibility and proactive attitude
  • Strong English level required, language skills in French would be an advantage
  • Strong motivation and interest for the raw materials, metals and energy sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (in particular, Excel and Word)
