EUMICON Dinner Debate 2025

On Tuesday 18 November, 2025, EUMICON’s High-Level Dinner Debate brought together around 130 participants to explore how Europe can safeguard its economic future by strengthening strategic resilience and ensuring sustainable access to critical raw materials!

This year’s edition, 'From Mines to Markets: Europe’s Path to Autonomous Competitiveness', focused on two central themes:

• ⚙️ Competitiveness

With an emphasis on driving innovation, advancing sustainability, and lowering strategic dependencies, the evening offered thought-provoking discussions and speeches, including contributions from Mr. Roman Stiftner, Director General of EUMICON, Mr. Valère Moutarlier, Deputy Director General at DG GROW, MEP Hildegard Bentele, EPP, Germany and Mr. Simon Westberg, Swedish State Secretary to Minister for Energy, Business and Industry.
